Salary – Competitive circa £30,000 pro-rata per annum, depending on experience
Contract - 12 months fixed term contract (maternity cover)

Job Type - Permanent, Full-time, Onsite 5 of 7 days per week- some weekend working is required

Job Purpose
The Birthday Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and ensuring excellent delivery of all birthday parties within KidZania London. Specifically targeted to deliver the parties budgeted admissions, revenue, and yield targets. The role will lead on parties’ strategy and outbound sales, working closely with all operational departments and sales/marketing teams. This role includes weekend and evening work, as required by the demand of the business. This is a very hands-on role for a highly motivated, sales and marketing professional with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Develop and implement strategic tactical campaigns for parties, at relevant times throughout the year to drive sales during shoulder periods.
- Actively review, propose, and develop customer retention and growth campaigns for parties.
- In coordination with the Head of Sales, set and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals for each segment within the sales strategy.
- Continually monitor ticket sales (closed and forecasted) and discuss with Head of Sales areas of concern and development.
- Develop, execute, and review sales and lead generation strategy for parties in line with budgeted EBITDA targets & business KPIs set.
- Proactively develop and maintain excellent knowledge and latest trends within children’s parties’ market to build credibility with families and advise on necessary adjustments within sales strategy to effectively navigate any changes.
- Influence developments within internal processes, product development and operational & ticketing set ups across all departments to improve customer journey & experience, as well as delivery of parties.
- Explore development and delivery of themed parties, and add-ons to assist in reaching EBITDA targets.
Sales and Marketing
- Assist to identify, map and deliver a communication plan for parties covering all channels (print & digital advertising, direct mail, email broadcast, outbound calls, PR etc.) to result in measurable conversion.
- Share feedback from parents on our product offering, market insights, and competitor activity with wider teams to help build greater market intelligence and appropriate product offering relevant to market needs.
- Work closely together with marketing, design and content teams to help with further product & marketing collateral development ensuring inclusion of key USPs for parties.
- Lead on inner city birthday sales, as well as lead generation and active outbound sales opportunities for parties.
- Proactively seek new routes to market and take ownership of creating new relationships, following up and managing delivery of mutual objectives to guarantee the success of campaigns.
- Deliver birthday tours for prospective parents to assist closing sales.
General
- Responsibility for complying with company policy concerning health, safety and security of themselves and others and must ensure that they do not endanger others by their acts or omissions.
- Responsible for the internal birthday crib sheet process and accuracy.
- Work with the Contact Centre manager to over-see the reservations/booking aspects of birthday sales, including booking communications, sales processes such as payment chasing and processing by our Contact Centre team.
- Deliver training to the contact centre agents for birthday sales and up selling processes.

Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar role and within Contact Centre, Call Centre, Customer Service, Attractions, Hospitality, Entertainment, Trade & Events
- Computer literate and confident in using ticketing and phone systems, word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
- Experienced in selling products in the corporate and/or leisure industry
- Highly organised and efficient
- Excellent project manager
- A strong communicator, both verbal and written, confident in communication at all levels and to large audiences
